RESIN BONDED STONE

This system is applied to a smooth, flat surface such as Tarmac Wearing Course, Concrete, Metal or Timber.
The substrate is first sealed with a Primer coat, then a further flood coat of Resin is applied and the chosen aggregate is scattered into the still wet Resin. Once cured, the excess aggregate is swept off to reveal a textured, anti-slip finish, with the appearance of loose gravel.

RESIN BOUND STONE

This system is usually applied to a Tarmac
“ Basecourse “ and is a smooth, flat finish,
usually applied at 15-20mm thick dependant
on location, traffic etc.

The versatility of Resin Bound Stone is endless, ranging from Tree Pits, Driveways, Footpaths, Swimming Pools etc.
The stone is first blended in a low speed mixer and then the Resin is added to the mix.
Both the Resin and the stone are thoroughly mixed together and then poured onto the area to be treated. This is then “ raked “ out to a thickness of 15-20mm and hand trowelled to a smooth, flat finish.
