We specialise is many areas of Resin Flooring including, Resin Bound Gravel, Resin Bonded Gravel and also operate largely in the industrial and commercial sectors.

In addition, we also provide a vast range of coatings for Factory or Garage floors. Self Levelling Screeds, Food Grade Floor finishes for Food Processing Areas, Chemical Resistant and Anti-Slip finishes, Rubber Crumb, Wet Pour & Playground Surfacing.

Resin Bound Gravel

Resin Bound Gravel has seen a large increase in popularity over recent years, ranging from Parks and gardens to apartment blocks and driveways. Resin Bound Gravel being completely porous meets all S.U.D.S requirements for drainage, which is required on all new builds.

The big advantage of Resin Bound Gravel which makes it a popular choice is the sheer durability of the product. The resin provides a resistant surface area whilst still allowing water and moisture to permeate through the material. This product is available in many different colours to meet individual needs.

Resin Bonded Gravel

Largely Resin Bonded Gravel is used for decorative anti slip areas, providing an anti slip finish with a large variety of colours available, making slippy driveways, paths, walkways etc, safe whilst providing a good visual impression.

Resin Bonded Gravel is proving more popular as it as various advantages over the more traditional gravel options. These include having no problems with loose stones or any form of plant life growing through the resin layer. Compared to other gravel applications, standing water and water erosion is not a concern which is another reason why resin bonded gravel is often a preferred choice. The product is very resistant and does not lose its colour over time.

Loughborough University


Coatech were awarded the project from the main contractors Tomlinson's and working in conjunction with BCA Landscape to provide new surfacing to an old existing area.


The Job entailed a new pedestrian area to the Hazlerigg and Rutland Square and new walkways/cycle parks to the James France Walk.








In Total Coatech Laid 2600Sqm of Resin Bound Gravel @18mm average in a variety of colours and locations to enhance the final finish. This provided Loughborough University with a hardwearing, low maintenance and decorative finish they were after.

Llandyrnog - Milk Link

Hope House Hospice = Oswestry
Coatech was approached and then awarded the works at Llandyrnog Creamery to install Resdev RT to their production room, the Job was to entail removing the old quarry tiles which were in poor condition and install a new hygienic PU Screed.


Resin Bound Stone - OswestryThe work was completed Start to Finish in 1 week, this to ensure no disruption to Milk Links Production. The Quarry Tiles were removed to expose the substrate which was then removed due to the screed being in a very poor state. Over 16 Tons of concrete was removed from site and Resdev's PumaBulk was installed to falls 80mm being the deepest to 30mm to create a good fall for drainage.

After the PumaBulk was applied this was then topped off with a heavy duty 6mm PU Screed in beige. The floor was finished off with Polysulphide expansion joints along the drain to match the floor.
