Featured Case Study’s
Loughborough University
Coatech were awarded the project from the main contractors Tomlinson’s and working in conjunction with BCA Landscape to provide new surfacing to an old existing area.
The Job entailed a new pedestrian area to the Hazlerigg and Rutland Square and new walkways/cycle parks to the James France Walk.
In Total Coatech Laid 2600Sqm of Resin Bound Gravel @18mm average in a variety of colours and locations to enhance the final finish. This provided Loughborough University with a hardwearing, low maintenance and decorative finish they were after.
Llandyrnog – Milk Link
Coatech was approached and then awarded the works at Llandyrnog Creamery to install Resdev RT to their production room, the Job was to entail removing the old quarry tiles which were in poor condition and install a new hygienic PU Screed.
The work was completed Start to Finish in 1 week, this to ensure no disruption to Milk Links Production. The Quarry Tiles were removed to expose the substrate which was then removed due to the screed being in a very poor state. Over 16 Tons of concrete was removed from site and Resdev’s PumaBulk was installed to falls 80mm being the deepest to 30mm to create a good fall for drainage.
After the PumaBulk was applied this was then topped off with a heavy duty 6mm PU Screed in beige. The floor was finished off with Polysulphide expansion joints along the drain to match the floor.
